This design is known amongst Seiko fans as the “Turtle” due to the cushion shape case and crown at 4 o’clock resembling the animal namesake, this shape originated in 1976 and was reissued in 2016 with a close-to-the-original design, updated Automatic movement, and various colourways.
This particular model has the 45mm stainless steel case & bracelet, metallic gradient black/blue colour dial, black/blue unidirectional 60-minute diving bezel, day/date window, screw-down crown, “Lumibrite” luminous hands, markers & bezel dot, automatic movement with hand winding & 41-hour power reserve, “Hardlex” mineral crystal and 200m water resistance.
