PRESAGE: The Presage range combines a Japanese aesthetic sense with traditional craftsmanship and Seiko’s mechanical watchmaking skills in an original collection that offers Japanese beauty, quality and long-lasting performance.
This model line is known as the “Cocktail Time”, originally created in 2010, the Cocktail Time was a collaboration with Ishigaki Shinobu, a prolific Japanese bartender and mixologist. As its name implies, the designs are intended to help capture that look, with brilliant, shimmering guilloche dials in various colours and slim, shining markers – evoking the stem of a cocktail glass.
This automatic, LIMITED EDITION timepiece from SEIKO is a testament to the refined beauty that is the art of watch making. The ivory coloured dial features a honeycomb texture and it paired with a calfskin leather band. The highly polished stainless-steel case design flows through to the simplistic details on the face. Highlighting the open heart, where a small part of the automatic movement of the watch is visible. To get a full view of the movement this timepiece also offers an exhibition case back protected by hardlex mineral crystal glass. This timepiece is one of only 6000 pieces and has its individual serial number engraved on the edge of the case at the back. The Ginza district of Tokyo is home to both SEIKO and Star Bar, an authentic bar in Ginza. This particular model is inspired by the original cocktail created by Mr. Kishi of Star Bar, the “Honeycomb” which is made with the honey from bees farmed in Ginza. As a result, the watch is named ‘THE STAR BAR’
