FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT USONIA LIMITED EDITION: This limited-edition watch pays tribute to the legacy of one of America’s greatest architects. Celebrating the iconic architects Usonian (a name derived from ‘United States of North America) homes, affordable architecture that freed itself from European conventions and responded to the American landscapes. Wright built around 60 Usonian homes and designed upwards of 140. The majority of these homes came with their own unique geometric elements utilized in clerestory windows, laylights, furniture, upholstery, and more. This watch features a multi layered black dial with cut out markers inspired by the perforated clerestory panels in Usonian homes revealing the luminous layer underneath as well as red and gold highlights an additional hour hand in LLOYD’s signature red. The dial of this watch also features a date window, all protected by sapphire crystal glass. The case of the watch measures 40mm and is yellow gold plated with an exhibition case back while the look of this watch is finished off with a burgundy, leather band. This watch comes in a presentation box with a Frank Lloyd Wright storybook.
