The texture of enamel is pleasing to the eye while the lustre remains permanently unchanged and excels in preventing corrosion. Such qualities make it ideal for watch dials, but great skill is required in preparing the enamel dial to the precise dimensions required, even the temperature and humidity must be controlled and the material adjusted at every stage to ensure a perfect result. 110th Anniversary ‘Laurel’ Limited Edition: Released as a tribute to the 1913 Seiko Laurel, the first wrist watch produced by Seiko. This watch features a hand fired enamel dial with blued hands and black printed numbers as well as a power reserve and date indicator all protected by domed sapphire crystal glass. The case of the watch is 37.5mm and made from stainless-steel and features a limited-edition number out of 2500. The watch comes on a brown bund style strap and is comes in a presentation box.
