KING TURTLE: This design is known amongst Seiko fans as the “Turtle” due to the cushion shape case and crown at 4 o’clock resembling the animal namesake, this shape originated in 1976 and was reissued in 2016 with a close-to-the-original design, updated Automatic movement, and various colourways. The ’King’ refers to the fact that this model also has sapphire crystal glass and a cyclops.
This watch features a patterned dark blue dial with bright blue highlights. The hands feature LumiBrite luminescence and the dial also features a day/date window that is enhanced by the cyclops on the sapphire crystal glass. The 45mm case of the watch is made from stainless-steel and features a one-way rotating bezel. The look of the watch is finished off with a matching stainless-steel band.
