Watsons Advantage benefits apply to eligible purchases only and may vary depending on the product, brand, order type, stock availability, delivery location and services requested.

Authorised Australian Retailer

Watsons is an authorised Australian retailer for selected watch and jewellery brands sold in store and online.

Where applicable, products purchased from Watsons are supplied through authorised Australian channels and include the relevant manufacturer warranty, packaging, documentation and after-sales support.

Authorised retailer status, warranty terms and support may vary by brand or product. Manufacturer warranty terms remain subject to the relevant brand’s own conditions.

Free Wrist Sizing on Request

Watsons offers complimentary wrist sizing on eligible watches purchased from Watsons.

Wrist sizing should be requested at the time of purchase or before dispatch. Where possible, Watsons may adjust a metal bracelet before shipping so the watch is ready to wear on arrival.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate sizing information. Watch fit is personal, and further adjustment may be required after delivery.

Where a watch has been sized, adjusted or altered at the customer’s request, this may affect eligibility for change-of-mind returns. This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, or any applicable manufacturer warranty or Watsons warranty.

Complimentary Watsons Extended Warranty

Selected eligible brands and products may include a complimentary and additional 2-year Watsons Extended Warranty, where this benefit is advertised or confirmed by Watsons at the time of purchase.

The Watsons Extended Warranty is offered in addition to any applicable manufacturer warranty and does not limit, exclude or replace any rights a customer may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Unless otherwise stated, the Watsons Extended Warranty applies only to the original item purchased from Watsons and proof of purchase may be required.

Warranty assessment may be completed by Watsons, the manufacturer or an authorised service provider.

The Watsons Extended Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, impact damage, water damage outside the product’s stated water-resistance rating, unauthorised repairs or alterations, batteries, straps, bracelets, clasps, cosmetic damage, loss, theft, or failure to follow product care instructions.

This warranty applies only to selected eligible brands and products and is not automatically included with every purchase.

Complimentary Gift Wrap and Handwritten Card

Complimentary gift wrapping and a handwritten card may be requested at the time of purchase.

This service is subject to availability and may vary depending on the product, packaging requirements, order timing and dispatch location.

Customers are responsible for ensuring any gift message provided is accurate and appropriate. Watsons may decline to include messages that are offensive, inappropriate or unsuitable.

Same Business Day Dispatch

Watsons aims to dispatch eligible online orders on the same business day where orders are placed before 2:00pm on a business day.

Same business day dispatch applies only where the item is in stock, payment has been received in full, the order has passed any required security or privacy checks, and the item does not require additional preparation such as sizing, adjustment, engraving, special ordering, supplier fulfilment or other services.

This wording is important because the current Delivery & Returns page states that, due to security and privacy checks, most orders take a minimum of 1–2 business days before being approved for shipment. It also notes that some orders requiring sizing can take additional time.

Orders placed after 2:00pm, on weekends, on public holidays, during peak periods, or orders requiring additional verification or preparation may be dispatched on the next business day or as soon as reasonably practicable.

Dispatch timeframes are estimates only and do not guarantee delivery by a specific date.

Express Shipping

Watsons offers express shipping within Australia for eligible orders.

Free delivery is available within Australia for orders over $100. Orders under $100 may incur the delivery fee stated on the website at the time of purchase, which is currently listed as a $15 flat fee.

Express shipping refers to the delivery service used after an order has been dispatched. It does not override order processing times, payment clearance, security checks, sizing requests, stock availability or other preparation requirements.

Delivery timeframes may vary depending on the carrier, destination, public holidays, weather events, peak periods and other circumstances outside Watsons’ control.

For security reasons, a signature may be required on delivery, which is consistent with the current Delivery & Returns wording.

Returns, Faults and Customer Rights

Watsons Advantage benefits are designed to provide extra confidence and service. They do not reduce or replace a customer’s rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Change-of-mind returns remain subject to the Watsons Delivery & Returns policy. The current policy allows customers to notify Watsons within 14 days for eligible change-of-mind returns, provided the item is in brand new condition with tags, warranties, boxing and certificates intact. It also states that specially made or adjusted items, including sized items, may not be eligible for return.

This does not affect a customer’s rights where a product is faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, not as described or otherwise covered by consumer guarantees.

General Conditions

Watsons Advantage benefits may vary by brand, product, promotion, order type, store, stock location and availability.

Where a product-specific offer, manufacturer warranty, promotion, Delivery & Returns policy or other specific term applies, that more specific term will apply to the extent of any inconsistency.

Watsons may amend, suspend or withdraw Watsons Advantage benefits from time to time, except where a specific benefit has already been confirmed as part of a completed eligible purchase.

Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies any rights a customer may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
