Terms and Conditions of Entry
1. Promoter
The promoter is Watsons Jewellers Pty Ltd (ABN 22 139 146 599), of 106 Biursbane Street, Tasmania (“Watsons Jewellers”).

2. Promotion Overview
To celebrate the support of our local customers over the past 100 years, Watsons Jewellers is giving away up to $100,000 worth of jewellery and watches through the Watsons $100,000 Celebration promotion.
Each business day between Friday 17 October and Saturday 8 November 2025, one eligible customer will win a refund of their purchase up to a maximum of $5,000.
3. Eligibility

Entry is open to residents of Tasmania only.

Entrants must be at least 18 years of age.

Purchases must show a Tasmanian address/postcode on the receipt or customer record.

Employees of Watsons Jewellers and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

The promotion applies to purchases of jewellery and watches only.

Excluded: repairs, resizing, engraving, lay-bys not paid in full, gift cards, or other service transactions.
4. How to Enter

Each eligible purchase made in-store or by phone between 17 October and 8 November 2025 automatically qualifies for one entry into the daily draw.

No additional fee is payable to enter.

Each transaction of goods paid in complete counts as a single entry.

Customers must have paid in full at the time of purchase to qualify.

The receipt is then entered into the draw.
5. Prize Details
-
One winner will be drawn at the end of each business day from all eligible purchases made up to that time.

The winner will receive a refund equal to the transaction amount paid on that specific day of their purchase and as listed on the particular receipt, up to $5,000.

Refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment method (e.g. card, cash, finance, or transfer).

The total maximum prize pool is $100,000.

The item(s) refunded as a prize cannot be refunded a second time, but may be exchanged for another item of equal or lesser value up to the original purchase price/refund amount.

If a customer buys multiple items, they can choose to split their purchase into multiple receipts, allowing for more entries, or combine all on one, which could provide a higher prize return if drawn.
6. Draw and Winner Notification

Daily draws will take place at Watsons Jewellers, 106 Brisbane Street Launceston, at the end of each business day from 15 October to 6 November 2025.

Draws will be conducted by a nominated staff member as witnessed by a second staff member, with the video of the draw to be posted to Facebook and Instagram.

Winner names (first name and suburb only) may be announced on Watsons Jewellers’ social media pages. If a winner requests not to be named, Watsons may announce the prize value instead - “this receipt is noted as a gift, so we won’t be saying the name, but we can tell you it’s a refund of….”

Winners will be contacted by phone or email within 2 business days of the draw.
7. Publication and Privacy

By entering, participants consent to their first name, suburb and prize being used for reasonable publicity purposes, unless they request anonymity at the time of receipt being entered into the draw. A Watsons staff member will highlight the receipt to clearly mark it as “name not to be announced.”

Personal details will be collected solely for the purposes of conducting this promotion and will be handled in accordance with Watsons Jewellers’ Privacy Policy.
8. General Conditions

The promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Watsons Jewellers reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.

Watsons accepts no responsibility for any technical or clerical errors.

When a winning transaction is refunded as a prize, that item is no longer eligible for further refund; however, it is eligible for an exchange up to the value of the original purchase.

The promoter reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions if required by law or for operational reasons, provided the changes do not disadvantage participants.

Watsons Jewellers reserves the right to extend the promotion at its discretion.
9. Record Keeping
Watsons Jewellers will retain full records of all entries, draws, winners, and prize redemptions for at least 12 months after the promotion closes, as required by the Tasmanian Gaming Control Act 1993.
10. Permit Information
This promotion is conducted in Tasmania as a Trade Promotion Lottery.
Under the Gaming Control Act 1993 (Tas), no permit is required as the promotion is free to enter and conducted to promote goods and services.
