DAVID & GLADYS WRIGHT LIMITED EDITION: This limited-edition watch pays tribute to the legacy of one of America’s greatest architects. Celebrating the iconic architects. Designed around one of the most unusual houses that Wright ever designed. The David and Gladys Wright house was comepleted in the early 1950's and was build for Frank Lloyd Wrights son and daughter in law. The building itself rises off the desert floor on a curving ramp, coiling around itself in the same geometric language wright was exploring for the Guggenheim in the same period.
ThIs watch features a layered, geometric dial with red, blue, salmon and green tones, a white innter bezel and luminescent hands and markers. The hands of the watch are fixed to a hour and minute discs that travel around a dimensional sloped ring, the dial of this watch is protected by sapphire crystal glass. The 38mm case of the watch is made from stainless-steel and the case back features the FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT collection logo along with the wrods 'David and Gladys Wright House 1950' The exhibition case back also features the individual serial number out of 750. The look of this watch is finished off with a brown leather band with the rug motif embossed underneath.
